PURP is a self proclaimed responsibly reckless renaissance woman. The DJ and Event Curator hails from Wilmington Delaware. Now based in Brooklyn, she has been making a name for herself by successfully bringing real club music to the underground NYC scene. In the two years that PURP has been DJing professionally, she has worked with big brands, and booked big rooms. She has opened for artists like Bandmanrill and Kenny Mason, and has secured partnerships with brands such as Footlocker and Converse.

PURP prides herself in being a professional social worker, and curates her own events under the Social Work NYC brand. She has curated and programmed events at staple NYC venues such as Pianos, Bossa Nova Civic Club, and Paragon Broadway.

Her current event The Dollar Party has a new home at the illustrious dance club Paragon Broadway.
